Data Collection and Use

We collect minimal anonymous usage data to help improve the app experience. This data is collected using:

Plausible Analytics

A privacy-focused analytics platform hosted on our own server (analytics.rodehouse.co). The data collected includes:

• Page views
• Basic device information
• Feature usage statistics

Sentry Error Tracking

We use Sentry (sentry.io) to monitor app performance and track any errors that might occur. This helps us identify and fix issues quickly. The data collected includes:

• App crash reports
• Performance metrics
• Device information (OS version, model)
• Stack traces for error diagnosis

No personal information or card data is included in these reports. All error logs are automatically anonymized.

Store Data API

Our app connects to an internal API (storemycards-api.rodehouse.co) to maintain up-to-date store information. This includes:

• Store logos and branding
• Store color schemes
• Regional availability

This API connection is used solely to update store visual elements and does not transmit any personal information or card numbers. All store data is cached locally on your device and updates are performed periodically to ensure accurate brand representation.

No personal information or card data is ever transmitted to our servers. All card information, including card numbers, store names, and custom images, is stored locally on your device.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted instance of Plausible Analytics (analytics.rodehouse.co) to collect anonymous usage data. Plausible is known for its privacy-first approach and does not use cookies or collect personal information. The analytics help us understand how the app is used and which features need improvement.

In-App Purchases

Store (my) Cards offers the following in-app purchase:

• Premium Features (ZAR 29.99): Allows you to add more than 5 cards, and unlocks all future V1 updates, as part of the purchase.

Purchase information is handled directly by Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not collect or store any payment information.

Apple Wallet Integration

When using the Apple Wallet export feature, all passes are generated locally on your device. No card data is transmitted to external servers during pass creation.

Third-Party Libraries

Our app uses the following open-source libraries:

• OpenSSL-Swift: For cryptographic operations required by Apple Wallet pass generation
• ZIPFoundation: For creating pass packages for Apple Wallet
• RSBarcodes_Swift: For generating various barcode formats (Code128, QR Code, PDF417, etc.) used in loyalty cards

These libraries operate entirely on-device and do not transmit any data externally. All barcode generation and processing is performed locally on your device.

Data Storage

All card data is stored locally on your device. We do not use cloud storage or sync services, ensuring your card information remains private and under your control.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using Store (my) Cards, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. App Usage

Store (my) Cards is designed to be your digital wallet for loyalty cards, membership cards, and other store cards. The app stores all card information locally on your device.

3. In-App Purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases for additional features. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

4. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Brand Affiliation Disclaimer

Store (my) Cards is an independent application designed to help users manage their loyalty and store cards digitally. We want to make it clear that:

• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected with any of the stores or brands whose cards can be stored in our app.
• All store names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
• Our app serves as a digital wallet to store your existing cards and does not generate or create new loyalty memberships.
• We do not have any official partnership with Apple or the Apple Wallet platform beyond using their standard developer APIs.

Card Storage and Usage

When you store a card in Store (my) Cards:

• You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to use and store the loyalty card.
• The digital representation of your card is based on information you provide.
• We do not guarantee that all stores will accept the digital version of cards stored in our app.
